There's no doubt about it; costumes are integral to the magic of dance on stage. A costume differentiates practice from performance, polish from potential, and pulls it all together for both dancers and the audience. Costumes that align with the vision of the choreography are unique and artwork in themselves.

Material and labour to create costumes can be costly, and children can outgrow their dance costumes quickly. Unfortunately, this expensive yet temporary performance necessity can contribute to an unsustainable practice of purchase and discard.

GMB Dance would like to build a costume library for the dancers who need them now, and for generations of dancers to come. A sustainable costume plan helps support our families and dancers year after year.

The initial 20.00 costume fee paid for at time of registration helps build our wardrobe!

After the show, you can either:

1) Return it to our collection and receive a 5.00 cashback for your pocket! Or, keep it for a credit with GMB Dance, or donate it to the scholarship program!

2) Purchase the costume to take home for an additional 30.00

As GMB Dance grows, so will our wardrobe, and this couldn't be more exciting!
